Danny Gokey's Debut Album ("My Best Days") is the perfect blend between Country and Christian. Technically he's not supposed to sing Christian but if you listen to his album closely it makes some very big references to Christianity. The one line that especially stood out as being Christian related was "I never saw a man walk on water, I never met a man who walked on water but I still believe!" This refers to the story in the Bible about Jesus walking on water with Peter (found in : Matt. 14:22-23, Mark 6:45-52 and John 6:16-21). Very In-Genius way to make a country song Christian.
